Cost Efficiency in The Banking Industry

This study aims to analyze cost efficiency in conventional banking. The data of this consists 23 banks Indonesia period 2009-2017. research method is the Stochastic Frontier Approach (SFA) model. results show that foreign exchange private are most cost-efficient. State-owned commercial not yet cost-efficient banks. Bank determined by labor costs and interest costs. Higher will increase total be useful for banking industry improve controlling implication government needs at state-owned reduce with aim increasing efficiency.

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi biaya pada perbankan konvensional. Data penelitian terdiri dari bank di periode Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan model (SFA). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa swasta devisa paling hemat biaya. umum milik negara belum termasuk efisien biayanya. Efisiensi ditentukan oleh tenaga kerja dan bunga. Biaya bunga lebih tinggi akan meningkatkan Hasil berguna bagi industri mengendalikan Implikasi pemerintah perlu BUMN serta menekan bunga.
